Are there washing facilities on premises?

Washers and dryers are available on premises in buildings A, B, E & G. They are operated with tokens; you need 1 token to wash and 1 to dry. One token costs US $2.00 and can be purchased at the front office.

How far is the resort located from downtown Oranjestad?

We are located about 9 miles/14 KM from Oranjestad.

What is the check-in time?

Check in time is 4:00 pm, however you can register any time prior to that.

What is the check-out time?

Check-out time is 11:00 am.

Are there hair dryers in the units?

Yes all units are equipped with hairdryers.

How far are you from the beach?

We are located about 1 mile/1.6 KM from the nearest beach area.

Does the resort have a beach that Members and guests can use?

Yes when staying at the resort you can use the beach facilities at the Moomba Beach and at the Pelican Pier. Upon check in you will receive a ticket. That ticket allows you to use the lounge chairs and shade at the Moomba Beach, Pelican Pier and Eagle Beach for free. Towels are provided by the resort. Moomba Beach is located about 1.5 miles/2.5 KM from the resort, the Pelican Pier about 1 mile/1.6 KM.

Do you provide transportation to the beach?

We provide a free shuttle from Sunday-Sunday to the Moomba Beach, Pelican Pier and Eagle Beach. First trip to the beach is at 9:25 AM, second trip is at 12:25 PM. First Pick up is at 12:30 PM and the last pick up is at 4:00 PM

Do you provide transportation from and to the Airport?

The resort does not provide transportation to and from the airport. Taxis are widely available at the airport. Or you can rent a car. Econo Car Rental has an office at the airport and on resort premises. Their website is: www.econoaruba.com

If I rent a car, is there parking at the resort?

Yes, free parking is available at the resort. A parking permit can be requested at the Front Desk.

What is the cab fare from the Airport to Caribbean Palm Village?

Taxis charge between US $30 and US $35

What currency is used in Aruba?

The official currency is the Aruban Florin. The U.S Dollar is also widely accepted. The exchange rate at the resort is US $1 = Afl 1.77

Can I still check in if I arrive after the 4:00 PM check in time?

The Front office is open 24 hours a day, so you would still be able to check in even late at night.

Is there a Lost & Found at Caribbean Palm Village?

Yes, the Housekeeping department keeps items left behind for 1 year. After 1 year items are disposed of.

How do I contact Lost & Found?

To confirm your items has been found, contact Lost & Found, Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Telephone (297) 526-2700 or via email at info@cpvr.com

What happens to my reservation if I arrive before or after my actual check in date?

Your week/unit will remain available for your use on the originally confirmed check in and out dates. If you would like to add days to your stay, you can do so by renting additional nights at the resort rack rate. Rental nights are not always available, so please always contact the reservations department (reservation@cpvr.com) for information on availability and rates.

Is there Internet connection on premises?

Yes, free Wi-Fi connection is available around both pools and in the Lobby. There are also computers available to check e-mail in the Members lounge on premises.

Do you have tennis rackets and balls available?

The activities department has tennis rackets & balls. Please contact them at (297) 526-2700 or via email at farley@cpvr.com

Does the resort have units that are accessible by elevator?

Yes there are 3 buildings that have an elevator. Buildings A, E and G.

Does the resort provide cribs, highchairs and wheelchairs if needed during my stay?

Yes all of the above items are available upon request and is based on first-request, first-reserve. There is a $5 a day charge for cribs and highchairs. There is no charge to use the wheelchair.

Are there any bbq grills at the resort?

Yes, there are 2 BBQ areas each phase; please call the operator to ignite the grill and advise them when you are finished using it. It is FREE of charge.

Can I smoke in my room?

Caribbean Palm Village Resort is Non-Smoking within rooms and buildings.
